Le créateur allemand a organisé une autre de ses extravagances de mode, cette saison avec un thème Western space invaders-rave-punk.
Une salade d'endives et de pommes suivie d'un bar aux épinards, du riz et des pommes de terre rattes était un menu de dîner beaucoup plus léger et sobre par rapport à celui à la mode que Philipp Plein a servi lundi soir. Le designer a organisé un dîner au restaurant The Grill, où il a planifié l'extravagance ultime pour divertir ses invités.
Comme prévu chez Philipp Plein, il s'agissait d'un autre effort exagéré reflétant l'audace opulente de la marque. Les ravers des années 90, les cow-boys occidentaux, les tartans punks et les accents d'envahisseurs de l'espace étaient les principaux ingrédients de la programmation excentrique.
Continuant à repousser les limites du bon goût, la collection comprenait des robes de soirée étincelantes avec des fentes hautes sexy, des séparations en denim incrustées de broderies de cristal, des jupes à carreaux maxi asymétriques associées à des hauts coordonnés et enrichies d'accessoires en cuir de style cow-boy avec des ornements précieux, ainsi comme des hauts bustiers en vinyle superposés sur des tricots aux couleurs néon associés à des pantalons laqués.
